Beautiful Home for Sale

This property is very unique; it can serve as a beautiful big single family dwelling with approx 7100 sq ft of living area, or is perfectly suited and currently used as a B&B. Each of the 6 bedrooms has a full bath and the private 2-bedroom suite is used by the owners when there are guests.

When you walk in on the main level there is a large foyer and off to the left is an elegant living room area with a fireplace and straight ahead is a beautiful Atrium area used as a sitting area and for serving breakfast to guests.

There is a large tiled outdoor patio off the Atrium. The huge family kitchen has a morning room area and there is also a fireside room with a see through wood heater. On the second level there is a large outdoor patio with fantastic unobstructed views of the Shuswap Lake. The expansive outdoor lawns, flower gardens, patios etc are very well kept and perfect for outdoor entertaining. This home was custom built only 10 years ago and any new owner would be proud to say this home is theirs.

Area Data

Swap Lake Area: Under the warm, summer sun, there's nothing like the feel of hot sand under your feet as you run to the cool, inviting water. The Shuswap boasts a bevy of fine beaches and a litany of lakes for those searching for summer relaxation. Even before you arrive, the Shuswap beckons with images of lakes, house boating, beautiful beaches, a long hot summer and more. There are four distinct arms to Shuswap Lake, shaped like a lazy H. Each has its own character and charm and each is big enough for one to spend at least a few days exploring. Constant summer sun and pure, clean water make it ideal for all your favourite lake activities.

Shuswap Provincial Parks: The Shuswap's provincial parks rank up with some of the best in British Columbia. The two most popular - Herald Provincial Park and Shuswap Lake Provincial Park offer overnight camping for everyone from motor home fans to pup-tenters.

Herald Provincial Park is a 51-site park; it is 25 minutes from Salmon Arm, on the lake across from Canoe. Motorists simply turn off the Trans Canada Hwy onto Sunnybrae Road. Herald Park's most unique feature is Margaret Falls on Reinecker Creek. The falls feature a Lower Mainland feel, as there are large western red cedars here. The falls can be reached via a short five-miunute walk along a wooded path. Herald Provincial Park supplies a picnic area, more than one km of sandy beach and a boat launch ramp.

Shuswap Lake Provincial Park is the largest provincial park on Shuswap Lake. This 272-site park is located on the former delta to Scotch Creek. This park features excellent swimming and sunbathing along its long stretch of beach. Boaters can access hiking trails on the picturesque Copper Island, about 2 km off shore. There is an RV sani-station and nearby stores can be accessed on foot so visitors can stock up their supplies.

Recreation

Water skiing, seadooing, windsurfing, swimming, power boating, sailing and house boating are the most popular summertime activities on Shuswap Lake.
